The Carleton Place & District Chamber of Commerce exists to support local business and to provide information and resources to the residents and visitors of our community. Our goal is to create an environment for business success by providing value and support to our members.

The Mississippi Mudds is a community theatre group that aims to expand the skills of its members while having fun and entertaining local audiences. Members have the opportunity to contribute or develop their skills in acting and singing, as well as the backstage and organizational aspects of community theatre. The "Mudds" were founded over 30 years ago by Carleton Place resident, Jan Ferguson.

Every Wednsday evening from 6pm to dusk begining May 1st thru September 11th, 2013 Classic Cars and Trucks will be at Market Square (Beckwith St). All procceeds will be given to the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital Foundation.
